Alison is a singer and educator from Calgary, Alberta. From a young age, she has been passionate about music and sharing her gifts with others. Her love of singing was fostered as a member of Catherine Glaser-Climie's choirs in Calgary, where she sang for almost 15 years. These years as a choral singer allowed her many opportunities, including touring to Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara, and Ireland, and participating in music festival competitions at the national level.
In addition to her choral experience, Alison enjoys playing piano. She is a teacher with Red Deer Public Schools where she teaches elementary classroom music and directs two school choirs. Alison also sings in Soliloquy, CSUS' adult mixed chorus.
Outside of her love of music education, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, in Sylvan Lake, where they currently reside. She is an avid reader and enjoys running, espresso, and scrapbooking with friends.
